[BUG] Cover Image of the PBB is not showing
Hello
I have given a lot of PB a cover image. They are visble in the personal book pane. But they aren't visible in the library or on top left it the PB is open.
Or is there any restrictions I'm not aware of?

This image is one of them
As you can see in the PB section it is. But not in the library or on the open book.
Just a check:
- you Build the PB after you have loaded the cover image?
- it is a jpg file (png may work, but I have not tried that)

Hello Dave
Not this
, but the opposite round. I do mostly first the PB and later I add the cover image.Dave Hooton said:you Build the PB after you have loaded the cover image?
As the bug with the importing PB is still not fixed. Hello Logos! I give first a random name like "aaa" without image etc. and add this later. Thats because we have still every time to close and reopen Logos for a new import. And it is easier to find it if it is on top.
May you ask why I don't want to scroll until the PB comes up. Because the scroll in the PB sections is damn slow. (another issue)
May you ask why I don't want to use the search. Because the search window overlap the "Bearbeiten" button. (next issue)
Impossible to ...
Yes I jpg. I have seen some jpg that works and some do not.
If I do an image from a screenshot then it is png. And I have seen png works. If all? I don't know.
I have tried to find out when the cover image fails. Maybe if the file has to less pixels. I found out 356x500, 321x499, 350x499 failed.

Could it be a size issue? I’ve used other applications where images didn’t load (and I never got an error message) but it worked after resizing the images.

Yes, this could be. But if this is the case, in my opinion Logos should act, so all will have profit from a better Logos.

That's the reason you do not see the Image in the library. With any change to the PB, you have to rebuild it. I understand, that Logos will often (for me it is certainly not every time) error out on building the same book without having restarted. But then, I try to do everything in one go, without having to rebuild a second time at all. But I realize that that might not work for someone who is working on a more complicated PB.
An alternative might be for you to have a few trial books called "aaa" and "aaaaaaaaaaa" etc. that you keep reusing for your trials, and only after you know your book is finished, do you set up a completely new Personal Book, that you only have to build once.

Act in what way? I think they could give an indicator of the recommended size or an error message when the size is not acceptable.

Interestingly if I do other changes. Logos recognize it. But for the cover image it seems Dave Hooton was on the right path.
Thanks to you all.
