I don't see this in the release notes but I may have just missed it. Why was the home icon changed from a house to a ????. What does the new icon represent? What do I call it? Why is it a good idea to change it?
It is mentioned here in the release notes.
There are other changes that will be released later on this year that have led us to renaming the Home page. For now, you can continue to call it the Home page, but we will be changing it's name to "Dashboard" in the near future. Also, what has been called "Dashboard" will later be renamed to "Get Started", but for now, continue using it's legacy name.
We are reverting these changes in Beta 2 next week, in order to ship it at a more opportune time later this year with other significant changes.
For now, you can continue to call it the Home page, but we will be changing it's name to "Dashboard" in the near future. Also, what has been called "Dashboard" will later be renamed to "Get Started", but for now, continue using it's legacy name.
Thanks - sorry I missed it in the change notes. I am, however, shaking my head at Logos love of changing names over and over; at least the company is consistent. [:)] Seriously, however,
what has been called "Dashboard" will later be renamed to "Get Started", but for now, continue using it's legacy name.
For my use, this is misleading as the Dashboard is for me the replacement for the lost Liturgical ribbon not particularly a starting point. See Revive liturgical ribbon | Logos
