"All search" seems not to include your personal books. You can however search your personal books via a Books search

I think it is actually the case that they are not found in a smart search. If you force an All search to execute a precise search - using precise syntax - personal books results are returned
Graham I was looking for that - how do you do a precise search in All Search? There is no Precise/Smart Search option selector on the right side in All Search, at least on Verbum/Mac?

You need to use some conventional Logos search syntax
So grace truth will run a smart search, while grace AND truth will run a precise search

So the question is: Who writes a bug report or a feature request?
It is not a bug as it is by design. Whoever feels strongly about the issue can add it to the feedback site and drum up support in the forums.
Personal Books can only be searched with Precise syntax; which you can use in ALL Search (as noted above) and by selecting Precise in Books Search.
