Switch Logos to Verbum
There used to be a way to switch Logos to Verbum by typing "Set Verbum to Yes" in the command bar. It seems perhaps this has been deprecated. Is there any other way to do this, or are those days behind us?
Thank you!

It still works for me in the latest 35.0 Beta 1 - see the nice Verbum logo inside Logos.
There always was the requirement to be the owner of a Verbum package (free Verbum Basic being sufficient) for the command to work.

So strange. I do have Verbum Free, as well as a few Logos packages. I'm not getting the option to switch. Thanks for posting!

I just run both. Just one open at a time of course.

Verbum Free is a newly configured product, replacing Verbum Basic. Maybe they somehow forgot to include the configuration-item that tells Logos you own a Verbum base package. Since you own Logos packages, obtaining Verbum Starter might be a rather affordable dynamic price and then the command will most probably work (until some day it's deprecated).

Haha...here's my rub. I'm running Linux (yep, I know about the web apps), but the only installer I've gotten to work is for Logos. I'd like to switch it to Verbum...or even better, have the ability to switch at will. (former Protestant in the process of swimming the Tiber) Otherwise, yes, I'd just run them both. I have the space to spare (my library is ~897 resources, so it's big but not huge)

I think you're right. it's about $50 for me to get into Starter. Although I'm considering the $99 annual subscription--seems like a good value and very helpful. Either way that should get me started. Thanks for the advice!
