If you are creating it on the desktop app try changing it to pericope instead of chapter and see if that fixes your problem. Also, if you want complete control use the Custom Reading Plan option and add your Daily reading to it that you want to read on any given day. Additionally, to the custom reading plan you can add all your reading not just your bible.

Hi Matt I don't have very much knowledge about Logos Desktop. I mainly use it mobile. I have made a custom reading plan where you highlight the text and add it to drag section and you can build your plan like that. But on that option I cant seem to make it readable at own pace. It start today and then has a reading for every day. Don‘t know if there is another way. But if I am doing something not right can you please send some screenshots on steps if you know of a way to make it readable at own pace.

Does the guidance at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016525132-Reading-Plans help?
If not, please advise where it is not working for you

Graham, I have used the custom option based on that document where you select the paragraph and drag in to the reading plan section. So I can create the reading plan as I want it to be. But then this option does not have the option to read it at own pace, it creates dates for you to read every day. Where the option at own pace does not have dates or a time frame, and this is what I wanted to know if there is a way of creating a custom reading plan with the read at own pace option.

Can you not create the reading plan in the mobile app? Then you can set it at your own pace.

Did you try creating the reading plan from the book's panel menu? Depending on the book that will segment the reading plan on chapter boundaries and it does support reading at your own pace

There are some books that Logos has marked as commentaries that skips some parts in the book, so these books then are not able to be made in a reading plan on mobile. Only on desktop. And then there are books that are able to do a reading plan on mobile bit the plan is not correct. You need to read the whole book in one reading before you can select finis. So this is the reason I want to make a reading as I have books that I want to read but are not able to make a reading plan mobile.

Can you provide an example of a book you are struggling with in making a reading plan?

One more thing. If you open a resource on any platform and then close the resource it will open again when you open the book so why make a reading plan at own pace? Just open the book and read and when you stop reading close the book. Next time you want to read it open the book and pick up where you left off. You can't get anymore at own pace than that.

Just ignore the dates and read at own pace!
