Welllll .... About a year or so back, I argued strongly with people on these forum for a better Search in Logos. However it happened, Logos listened and Mark Barnes has worked diligently with that. I like the results I am seeing and using.

ChatGPT may appear to be great ... but so far, it has not been tested enough to put "faith" in it. But our faith should be in God's word... and in that vein, I like dealing with people (such as Logos/Faithlife) that have a reputation of being "believers". I trust them a bit better. Also, I'm one that wants to "do for myself" so to speak, in that I want to know and understand what I am preaching/teaching about. I can see A.I. to be useful in searches, but once Logos gets it's arms wrapped around it, I don't know as I will need to go outside Logos to search.

I think it would be "not good" for me to use A.I. to build a sermon and preach it. What have I learned in the process? What kind of Godly servant would I be? I would be doing nothing but depending on something else to do what God wants me to do.... where is my study and "trials of learning" in all that? Why should I be in the middle if that is the case? Just give the listener a login to A.I. and let them go....really??? Will preachers become extinct? God forbid!!

A.I. will definitely change things, but as yet... it has not been proven how. Sure it's "new" and "fun" and we all like to experiment with things like that. But, in mho, God wants us to "know" His word, not just let something else do that for us. I pray we all can keep that perspective.

And in that thought, we need Logos as much as ever!

Back in high school, a teacher asked our class to write an essay on "Making Breakfast A Hundred Years From Now."

Some students thought we wouldn't need breakfast. Others thought we just needed to take a pill. Yet others thought we would drink breakfast, or perhaps take it by injection.
