Lexicon Visual Filter
I made visual filters to highlight gloss text in several lexicons. however, the highlighted text does not appear on the initial opening. It takes about two minutes for the filter to kick in and display the highlighted text. Is there a way to make the filter work immediately?

You mention several lexicons ... all open or in a layout?

I generally open them from the word study guide as needed. i have opened them in a layout but it still takes a couple of minutes for the highlighted text appears.

Lexicons are big books and wildcard searches take quite a bit of time. Searches like that are bound to take time.

No. Even if focused to one resource.

So you have one filter for each lexicon (recommended)?

Yes, one filter for each resource

Then it is simply a matter of doing something else for a few minutes before turning to the lexicon.

I have a visual filter for the CNTTS apparatus. It pretty much highlighs half the text (aging, usefulness, etc). Anyway, opening it takes 10 seconds to display the filter. A Mac M1. On the one hand, that's amazing. On the other, patience.
