Running logos for Windows on a Mac

My primary use of Logos is on my Mac for routine study. I also have Logos installed on Windows running Parallels since most of my Sermon Prep is done in Windows. What I need to know is, are both OS's accessing the same set of resources (now over 3000 books) or are the resources duplicated for each OS?

Separate resources. A few features are by machine rather than by installation which may cause wonky behavior - rare but I have run into it occasionally.

If you have installed Logos you would be aware that you can choose a subset of your resources to be downloaded, so you can have a different number of resources in each installation. You can right-click a number of selected resources in Library and choose "Remove from this device" to save disk space.

The last part implies you have a separate Windows installation as it is curious that you would emulate Windows on Mac just for sermon prep?

Might I, simply out of interest, ask what you can/need to do in Windows that cannot just as easily be done using MacOS?

Duplicating resources is probably costing you a lot of disk space. But it would not be a problem unless you are approaching the limit on your disk space.

I'm sure Logos would not support it, but Virtual Machine Hypervisors always have a "shared folders" feature. A tech-savvy person could easily locate the resource folders in the primary operating system and share it with the virtual machine in the correct location.

But having ample disk space is the preferred method [8-|]

What is inside the virtual machine does not know what is outside the virtual machine. So the two installations do not know about each other. They each talk to the Logos servers as if they are two different computers.
