How do I search the entire Logos catalogue without all forms assumed

I want to find a brief description of the term "justification" [Not atonement as the Factbook card suggests] that covers the two major differences in how the term is used:

as a singular event or as a life-long process
as limited or universal

Yes, I thought finding a comprehensive definition would be simple. Rather it has been an incredibly frustrating exercise in futility.

You've forced smart search off by using special syntax. But, in All Search, we don't show controls for stemming. If you want to force that off for any word, use match.form:process. You can also use match.exact: which will match case and process to. There's more details in the Advanced Searching section of the Help file.

I thought finding a comprehensive definition would be simple.

For a definition you would use a Books Search and look for articles on justification. For the two major usages you seem to want both of them in the one article, whereas I would use OR to also allow them in different articles. "limited" is ambiguous. I only found one result for

(universal AND process AND event) IN headword:justification

but much more for:

(universal OR (process AND event)) IN headword:justification

You can choose different combinations of operators and also use other "differentiating" terms.

FYI, the terms "limited" and "universal" usually go with "Atonement" not "Justification" (at least in Protestant theology), although I have found the phrase "universal justification" in some Lutheran resources, as well as "universal redemption".

I would separate your searches to look at justification as a singular event vs. a lifelong process; and then atonement and/or redemption as limited (to the elect) or universal.
