BUG: "Send Hyperlinks Here" ignored

Logos 35 Beta 3 Mac OS 14.5 M1

This is not technically a Beta problem as it has been present for a long time. It just took this long to irritate me enough to post a bug report.

I am attempting to follow that "5 Day Bible Reading Program" with the NLT having "Send Hyperlinks Here" selected , but the problem is present with other reading plans as well. When I click a continue link to another portion of the reading plan, Logos insists on opening another NLT panel. This occurs about 90% of the time, and becomes quite irritating.

What are trying to accomplish? If the Plan is generated for the NLT, the Plan will use the NLT without hyperlinking and move to the next reading (it won't use another bible with Send Hyperlinks Here). This applies whether I initiate the reading from the Plan or from a Card on the Home page.

The problem is that Logos opens another NLT panel for the next reading instead of moving the existing panel to the next reading. Interestingly, this has not happened since I posted the bug report. It has behaved as you described.

Yes. But "Send Hyperlinks Here" is not needed for the bible in the Plan, and therefore not part of the problem (and it can't divert the readings to another bible).

I understand. I added that feature because of the problem with Logos opening a new pane rather than scrolling to the new reading.

You are correct. I should not have mentioned that in the bug report,

The Bible reading plan includes readings in the OT, NT and Psalms, so there are links every day. Some days, Logos opens a new pane with every link; other days, it scrolls flawlessly. The problem is quite random, and I have not seen any clear pattern. The day I created this thread, Logos opened a new pane every time. I created the thread, and Logos performed flawlessly for a week. Now, the bug appears randomly, but not as often as previously.
