How to attach note to print version of book in library
I have many print versions of books that I do not have digital copies of or that are not available through Logos. The books show up in my library as print as they should after entering ISBN. But I cannot figure out how to associate the notes I am working on to that print book such that the book shows up as one of the filters/references in my notes.
For example, I am working through Richard Bauckham's From Gospel to Glory and creating notes. But I cannot associate these notes to the print book in my library as a resource.
I understand about the licensing restriction but since I have many 100s of print books not having an ability to tie notes to print books in the library diminishes the value of notes.
Is there no method to tie a note to a print resource? Or am I just not figuring how this is done.
Thanks for any guidance or insight.

Hi JD - and welcome to the forums
The books show up in my library as print as they should after entering ISBN.
Can you expand on this please?
My understanding was that to have a book in your Print Library it needed to be in the Logos catalog. Are you finding this is not the case?
But, even without that question, I don't think what you are looking to do is possible. As we don't have access to the text of a book in our print library we don't have anything against which we could add a note.
If I am missing your point, or missing something obvious, hopefully someone else can add some insight.

Thanks Graham for the reply. I've attached a screenshot of what I'm attempting. I just want to associate the note with the book (reference) not the text. Since the print book shows in my library (as a print version) I just need to associate the bibligraphical info with the note. Do not need to do page, or text. Just the book itself.
Hope this helps.

Hi JD
I just want to associate the note with the book (reference) not the text. Since the print book shows in my library (as a print version) I just need to associate the bibligraphical info with the note.
As above, I don't think this is possible as an anchor (that needs access to the electronic copy of the book)
You could add a tag with the information (there is space at the bottom of a note for this). Would that help at all?

Thanks, I try tags and see if that helps in the short term.

It would be better as a note.. (in Take a note...). Tags are meant to be short, not anchors, and usually apply to many Notes
