Resource issue: Early Access and the Translation Sidebar in Logos Help

The sidebar needs clarification wrt to Cloud based and AI access tools that are excluded from a Legacy Fallback license after 2 years.
The main feature is stated as Auto Translation Sidebar [L10] [Net]
- it is listed in the L10 FFS and requires Internet access with a monthly usage limit.
But it is also referenced under AI Credits [Logos Pro Early Access]
- it has monthly allocated "credits".
- Has the Translation sidebar suddenly required AI Credits?
- Is it excluded from a Legacy Fallback license?
- Do existing owners of L10 FFS retain the sidebar now that it requires AI credits?

I think the monthly allocation is drawn from our AI credits - but the functionality was available before the term AI Credits was introduced
Andrew, and than Mark, say something about this at https://community.logos.com/forums/p/221543/1289699.aspx#1289699 and later

Yes, but Andrew calls them "translation credits". It is important to distinguish the feature from AI irrespective of whether its units of use can be pooled with other units. Those users that own the feature will be more confident that ownership will continue as L10 FFS rather than being associated with the AI Credits of [Logos Pro Early Access].

Translation has always had a "fair use limit", that limit was expanded on to create the AI Credits system and now translation uses that system.
Yes, it is excluded from the fallback.
Yes, existing owners retain ownership of what we sold them. Those owners will have "AI credits" allocated to them for use in this feature even without a subscription.

As per my original post, this usage should be clarified in Logos Help where it is listed as: Auto Translation Sidebar [L10] [Net]

Since I am one the many people that have been subscribing to Logos Now/Connect (No Resources) since 2014, I have not bought any updated feature sets since then. So, I have this translation feature as part of Connect(I guess). I was just looking at the Full Feature set page and I see something listed as Automatic Translation Tool in the features. There are desktop/web/mobile listed for this feature. Is this the feature under discussion hear?
If it is, then it looks like the only way to keep it(and probably other features) without keeping an active subscription is to buy a full feature package before transition takes place in the fall since this feature is excluded from the fallback.
Am I understanding this correctly? A clear understanding of what I will lose if I don't get a Full Feature set before I subscribe to one of the new tiers, or not, is necessary to make a good decision. Some people have asked about AI and cloud features. Since the web version and the apps for various phone/tablet platforms is basically all cloud (and maybe AI?), how is that being handled?
And yes, I have read most of the threads, so I know that the Connect subscription transition details is forthcoming. Thanks.

This is an example of what can possibly become a reoccurring issue, until Logos provides a clear table of Features and which are excluded from Fallback and which are not....
Also scratches the surface of what subscribers get for Features - there seems to be both a lack of clarity on which are excluded, but also and more importantly to this user - the subscription will have new features added throughout the year.....
The latter is basically saying subscribe and be surprised by what you get for your subscription cost (Which can be pleasantly surprised or disappointedly surprised)
It is one of the reasons I continue to push for the traditional purchase option we have had - at least I know what I am paying for and get to decide whether it is worth the investment to me personally....
With the subscription model, including the fallback option - I may know pieces of what I'm paying for and for the rest go back to my surprise comment above....

Auto Translation feature = Translation feature
For Desktop it requires L10 Full Feature set (L10 Bronze for Mobile and L10 Silver for Web).
So you need L10 FFS to keep it. It is excluded from the Legacy Fallback after 2 years of an active subscription
In Logos Help look for features qualified by [Net] to understand what you cannot keep/own under a future subscription. L10 FFS will ensure you keep Interlinears, Datasets and Features of your Connect subscription.

They are handled as apps under the subscription, but don't run all the features of the Desktop app. You need L10 FFS to keep their L10 and earlier features (especially the [Net] ones).
EDIT: some features of Mobile require a Net connection where Desktop does not, but ownership will ensure they are retained. Web app will be the same.

All excellent observations. I'm especially impressed with the game .... give us some money ... we'll do something ... and after 2 years (giving us more money), you can keep it. That's incredibly gracious. After watching their earlier 'gifts'.
I'm also impresessed that they don't just create a no-reply thread documenting 'today's menu' of decisions ... vs buried in lengthy threads of poorly described details.
This AM ... you need to have L10 FF to hold on to features you already bought. I'm pretty sure that was not the intent, but illustrates the lack of clarity.
