Sorry - still confused about subscription tiers and costs

Sorry for this post - there have been so many, plus the what-if's, and the explanations of now and the fall, I am confused what exists and what does not. If I could get some things clarified it would help me greatly, thanks!

So - right now I pay for Logos Pro (Verbum actually) Early Access - $10.59 a month.

I see this subscription page, which describes in some detail Premium, Pro, and Mac tiers - all "Early Access".

It says right now Pro is $24.99/month-$249.99/year - a lot more than I am paying.

Max is $34.99/month-$349.99/year, Premium $14.99/month-$149.99/year.

So my questions, given all that:

1. Is there a comparable discount for me, for Max and Premium  level, or has that not been decided yet?

2. Why is "Pro" so much more/month than I am paying?

3. I see where I can identify books I do not own, which come from each tier. Pro and Max have exactly the same books for me, Premium has only 3 less books - to me 28 unowned books Pro and Max, 25 for Premium. Is this common, or are the books available still being worked on?

4. Is there going to be a comparable "Features Owned/Not Owned" list that will be updated to the site, to see what else I would get at each tier, feature-wise?

5. The "Learn More" under Fallback license doesn't mention Fallback at all. Still being worked on?

Thanks!

I feel the same as you! I was happily using Logos Starter for several years, then bought a Logos 10 Bronze Library because it was only a bit more expensive than the commentary series I wanted, but included a few extra resources I thought looked interesting. A few days after Logos Pro Early Acess was announced, I decided I'd hedge my bets and bought Logos 10 Full Feature Set and a few minutes later I subscribed to Logos 10 Pro for $10/month (plus tax, of course). I'm not reallly using any of the new features (yet), but I was concerned if I didn't subscribe right away I might not be able to afford to in the future.

Today I received an email with seceral "deals", one of them being a Logos subscription. I checked the web site and had to double-check to make sure I was logged on, because they're the same prices you're seeing — a lot more than $10/month! Should it be trying to charge me 2.5 times what I'm currently paying for Pro? If I'm already subscribing to Pro, why is it even offering Premium? I'm really hoping this is an error and not a sign of new business plans. If I was not already a Logos user, these prices would almost guarantee I wouldn't become one. I'm wondering if there will still be a free version in the future, which I suspect would still meet my modest needs.

I will freely admit, however, that I don't regret upgrading and subscribing to Pro. Since subscribing, I've spent time learning about the feature I haven't had access to before. Some of them I may use; many of them I won't. I've found the training videos helpful.

Once everything settles down, and I've figured out which features I really find useful, I may stop my subscription.

I think some of your questions are answered here (specifically look at Mark Barnes' responses).

I believe the questions regarding the pricing you're seeing is simply a bug and they're working that out. I was able to get Max for $12.99/month (or $129.99/yr) by contacting customer service but I saw the $34.99/month price, too. I think if you're paying for Logos Pro now at the reduced rate you'll be able to subscribe for what I'm paying. From the thread I linked to above, Mark Barnes said: "FWIW, there are no NEW features in Logos Max that are not also in Logos Pro. Right now, the difference between the two packages is the number of books included (500 vs 400), and a bunch of advanced original language features previously included in the Logos 10 full feature set."

    Hope this helps!

Thanks. I'll see if Mark adds anything to my questions. It sure seems there is absolutely no value in Max, at least for me. Frankly, it's not clear of the value of Pro vs. Premium in my case as well. Maybe they are working on that, for long time users with large libraries.

That is what I am finding. I keep going back to look again. And again.  None of the books entice me.  I have almost everything of value already, So that leaves AI, which isn't yet offering enough to warrant much of a monthly fee. So, unless we want to donate money to Logos to be nice, maybe pony up a little for R&D...... Before that, I'd like the confidence they are going to spend it wisely.

I had been excited about buying new packages and features coming up, but that is waning now with the way things are.  But there is time.  We may get back on track here again soon.  Here is hoping!

Was recently tols on 8/5/24 that with the Bronze Feature set I could get Premium for $6.99/month. With Silver Feature set Pro goes for $9.99/month.
