I have an Apple iMac and a apple laptop which i will be going on a trip with and would like to access on the road.
Is it doable?

Disclaimer: I'm not a Mac person, but I know that Logos works on multiple devices for either Windows or Mac.
You should be able to simply install fresh on the laptop (I think the link to download for Mac should show up here, though it doesn't for me, but that might be because I'm connecting to it from a Windows PC), and then let it sync all your books and settings and reindex. But that can be slow.
This is supposedly a quicker way, though I haven't tested it myself:
