Equivalent resources exists only as an artifact of ancient history. Please either:

1. remove the feature, simplifying the software

2. update it to include all equivalent resources

3. merge it into parallel resources which it closely resembles.

Plus only 3 people still know what it's even for (not me).  I use tags + multiview for equivalents.

I went to my OT window to find an equiv icon ... I remember BHW as a major participant. But it took considerable work to find the icons. The reason is the icon is 'last displayed' and therfore never displayed in my busy layout page.

Off-topic a bit ... parallels.  This am I was impressed lining up my Ugaritic resources on parallels (rituals specifically). Wow. So, I wanted to see if I could use ANET or COS to drive a multiview. I gave up ... I can see how they're indexed ... just can't see any parallel resources. Libby showed a bunch. She has a dynamic index>resource table, plus an index switch.

    Ok, back to equivs.
