How can I restrict a web app all search to date from 2020 onward?

Make a temporary collection on the pubdate field. The Logos Help document has details.

You can't. You have to use a Books Search..
Your Search term has to be modified as you might only get results for ""Historical Jesus" because it is parsed as ("Chris Keith" NEAR "New Quest") OR "Historical Jesus". Try "Chris Keith" NEAR ("New Quest" OR "Historical Jesus").
I have some results for "Chris Keith", but none that satisfy your query.
