Indexing 1% per hour

Since a few days Logos cannot finish indexing because after 12 hours running non-stop only 12% are done. Is there a bug or do I have to wait for days without shutting down my computer?

I use Logos 10 34.1.9, Windows 10 64-bit, i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz (yes, it's still working!), 16GB Ram.

Thanks!

indexing is very resource-intensive - the most critical being the I/O onto the files, i.e. whether you use an SSD or a spinning HDD and the read/write speed this device is offering. Especially when a HDD is used that is rather full, it can take long.

Are you stating that indexing was OK until recently? How long did it take?

The CPU is 12 years old and slow. But the biggest contributor to slowness is a Hard Disk Drive. What are the specs of your drive and how much free space is there? How many resources do you have?
