Similar Tool in Logos

I hope not to cause discord or issue with this post. My friend uses Accordance. He made this photo using the Virtual Bible archival tool in Accordance. Is there a way to do this in the Logos app? Or is there a resource accessible in Logos Bible Software that is similar?

No similar tool in Logos. I seem to recall there are some resources that have 3D recreations of Biblical cities or buildings, but I can't remember which ones off the top of my head.

I did a Media search for Jerusalem 3D and found this and a bunch of other images under "Media Collections" -- titled "Jerusalem Flyover 1" and other sequential numbers. Different angles and zoom scales.

I tried to find out which Media Collection that comes from so I could point you to it on the Logos website, but that wasn't easy.

So I searched for "Jerusalem flyover" in all my Books.

Turns out this one comes from Lexham Geographic Commentary on the Gospels, and there's a video embedded in it.

Accordance has lost its edge in a lot of areas, but still to this day its interactive Bible atlas and graphics management have always been cutting edge. Kind of like the Concorde. The Concorde is old technology, but it was so far ahead of its time, it still looks cutting edge. I would love under the new subscription model we could see some real advancements in this side of the house.

Agree. This morning, I was examining the object in Narmer's (3100bce Egypt) right-hand ... zoomed in full-screen on my MBP. That's even better than squinting at a museum. But I doubt the Logos imagery has the resolution to match Accordance. Zoom into pixelized.

I never knew there was a media collection in Logos.

There are lots of Media Collections in Logos. You might even have some of them in your Library already. Here's the first half of mine (I've weeded out audio and courseware). Also some books that aren't specifically type "Media Collection" have media embedded in them (pictures and I now realize videos) so those will show up in a Media search.

The last time I tried to find a representation of the living creatures in the chapter three of Ezekiel, I could not find one. Somehow, somewhere, without being an expert in programming languages, there must be a way to access and use multimedia resources in Logos.

If you search your library for "type:interactive" one of the cool tools is "Before and After: Biblical Sites". It will show you a picture of Jerusalem today with a slider to show an artist's rendition of the Second Temple Era city.

Factbook is also a good way to find media. For example, if I search Jerusalem in the Factbook and click "Open in Media Tool" I get a bunch of results and I can also open a search from the same window.
