Dynamic pricing for multiple levels of packages is wonky

Seen on https://www.logos.com/early-access/libraries
There is only one book in the Silver 2024 Library that the Bronze 2024 Library doesn't have. If you do the math, the addition amount I'd have to pay to get it by buying Silver instead of Bronze makes zero sense.
Of course I'd be better off buying Bronze and then buying that book separately. Actually, I'd be better off buying Starter, since it has the same new books I'd get from Bronze, but costs 30 cents less.
Pricing of multiple levels shouldn't work this way. Buying the highest level should always be the best deal. But I shouldn't complain if I've found a way to game the system and get things cheaper.
I sometimes find that buying a lower tiered package and then upgrading to a higher one gives me a better total price than having bought the higher tiered one in the first place. Go figure!

I can not find these 2024 Libraries in Logos store, are they tailor made for certain group of customers?
Thanks.

I believe this is a pop up offer when you order the new subscription. I subscribed to Max for a year, but considering the books I already own, the packages were not a great deal for me.
You can see the offer by going through the subscribe process but not clicking the final order button.

I see... Thanks.

Same here.
The one book I don't own is a prepub which currently costs €24,78

Sorry, I forgot to include the URL. Anyone can see it if they go to https://www.logos.com/early-access/libraries
The public invitation came from here: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/221543.aspx
Can't remember if that's where I followed the link from or if it came up for me elsewhere on the Logos website.0 -

It's a known issue that books that are on sale or prepub don't get calculated accurately into dynamic pricing. But I thought what I reported was a different problem. Maybe it's all related.

I get a runtime error. Do you need to have a subscription to access the libraries? I am waiting until they transition my Faithlife Connect subscription since I did not feel like the second subscription was justified from the tools released so far.

I get a notification at the top of the page that Rosie posted a link to, says a subscription is required....

Hopefully this subscription required to purchase the new libraries is either a mistake or will be just until launch...
Logos would really show their level of care for the customer base has dimished, if users were not qualified to purchase new packages without a subscription....

Thanks, I have tried as advised by Doug earlier.[Y]

The jump from bronze to silver seems disproportionately priced for me as well. I am still trying to understand what this offering is anyway.

Well, it IS a great idea.. premium collections for subscribers. Then, just average collections for the hoi polloi. Although, I'd think an extra, let's say, 10% off collections for subscribers would be better. I just can't see delaying cash-flow on 'features' will be paying the bills.
I can say this as a future popcorn-munching observer. Smiling.

Oh yes, now I remember how I got to this. I decided to try the 30-day free trial of the subscription, and then this was available to me (even before checking out on the free trial). I can always cancel at the end of the 30 days if I decide it's not worth it. But this is the cheapest it will ever be.
It was not clear whether this early access subscription price is just for the first year or whether those who jump on it early will keep the lower price going forward. They could make their communication (on the website) clearer about this. It might have been mentioned in the forums somewhere, but lost in the midst of all the other explanations they had to give us.

Mark said that those on the Logos 10 owner tier will remain on a separate rate but that the dollar difference between the two tiers might change. He said that it is still undecided how long this path will be available to buy into but that one on you can stay on.

Oh yay, I can pay $31.18 for the right to say I own the Silver Library, even though I already own everything in it (nothing shows when I "Hide owned resources). [:D]

And this is another concern for those of us who refuse the doulos subscription model...we get to "keep everything" but we can't come in the party, and if we show up at the door, the bouncer will escort us to the curb.

Yeah, they might lose me at that point. I can see giving subscribers some sort of (perhaps substantial) discount - I don't have a problem with paying more to buy rather than rent. But being completely locked out of buying new packages of books would feel like a red line to me.

I like the Help Center being subscription based (I think). "Our software is so complicated, you'll beg us to subscribe, just for help!"

The link Rosie posted still says you need a subscription to purchase - these two links allow me to add the packages to the cart. Though neither contains the value that I'm used to seeing in previous Library Packages.... Especially considering Features are no longer included in any form.... With no features in the packages - the Library content needs to be really solid. We'll see what else comes along, but it appears my days as a customer are complete and I will just be a user going forward.
It was a good thing for the most part while it lasted, but the "new" Logos seems to be geared toward a customer base that minimizes or excludes some of us
