Abraham Joshua Heschel (1907 – 1972) was a Polish-American rabbi and one of the leading Jewish theologians and philosophers of the 20th century. Heschel was a professor at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, authored a number of widely read books on Jewish philosophy, and was a leader in the civil rights movement.
It is quite surprising that though Logos carries a number of books about Heschel, it doesn't carry any by him, except The Prophets in Chinese translation (odd that they have that but not the English version). I hope that will be rectified soon

Robert McAfee Brown had some wonderful stories of rooming with Heschel on some civile rights forays. Some of Brown's wisdom was drawn directly from Heschel.
