Possible Bug with NASB95?
Hello,
First time poster here. I've been experimenting with Logos 10 and so far absolutely love what Logos has to offer. Today I purchased my preferred translation NASB95 (the add-on was labeled NASB95 Update)
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but when I attempt a BWS, Logos defaults to ESV even though it is not my highest prioritized Bible The NASB95 is. When I try to change the default Bible, NASB95 isn't in the selection menu.
Not sure what I need to do or what I'm doing wrong or if it is a bug I'm facing. All my searching online and within these forums isn't producing a solution.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Dan - and welcome to Logos and these forums

What do you mean by this - how are you actually running the BWS and in what way are you seeing the ESV as default?
Some screenshots showing what you do and the results you get would be helpful (please use the paperclip icon in the forum editor to insert the screenshots)

Where are you trying to change the default Bible? Your description sounds like it might be in the BWS itself but I wanted to check.
Is the NASB95 available in your Library? Are you able to open and read it?

There is a lot of functionality in the application that requires what is called a Reverse Interlinear for your Bible. This is an extra resource that contains a bunch of data supplementing the Bible text, and is specific to a particular version of the Bible. The Reverse Interlinear for the ESV is made available for free for you, but not for the NASB 95.
You can find the Reverse Interlinear set for NASB 95 here: https://www.logos.com/product/145180/the-new-american-standard-bible-nasb-95-reverse-interlinears-set
Purchasing that should enable the functionality in the BWS along with a bunch of functionality throughout the application.

The Bible Word Study is powered by a "reverse interlinear" for the Bible you wish to use.
The NASB95 Reverse Interlinear is available for standalone purchase here: https://www.logos.com/product/145180/the-new-american-standard-bible-nasb-95-reverse-interlinears-set. It's included in many of our Base Packages.
(It's also included in our Early Access subscriptions, at the Premium Tier and higher: https://www.logos.com/early-access.)

Hi everyone,
I really appreciate the help.
Because Graham asked, I've posted a few pictures of the situation.
Me right clicking on "Prayer" for Word Study.
Bible Word Study results. Results are coming from ESV as shown in the image below.
NASB95 not showing up in the settings menu when I attempt to change the translation for the BWS.
I will purchase the reverse interlinear version. I wish this had been more clear at the time of the purchase lol.
Thanks for all the advice!

Glad you got it working!
Just to ease your mind a little... the Reverse Interlinears do not stand on their own. They still require the purchase of the associated Bible. So, you didn't waste any money with your original purchase. It just took some extra effort to get you to the functionality you wanted.By the way, if you right click now in the NASB95, you should see a whole lot more options now on the left side. This is a small part of what the reverse interlinear unlocks for you.

Hi Andrew,
That did ease my mind a bit lol.
I'm really enjoying all the unlocked right click options now. Especially the Greek and Hebrew lemma and root word usage search / chart.

Hi Andrew
Good to learn that you are enjoying using Logo's extended powers.
For my part, as a Minister with the Church of Scotland, I find the Passage Guide gets a good work out most weeks.
