BUG: Note Formatting Not Working On IOS and iPadOS
On the web app and desktop apps if you put a dash then a space it starts a bulleted list.
However, on the mobile app this APPEARS to not work. However, when you go back to the synced note on desktop the bullets are there.
This is extremely confusing and makes accurate formatting of notes on mobile difficult.
Let me know if that doesn't make sense.

Hi David,
We were unable to duplicate this behavior on our side.
I can't be sure, but it looks like you might be using iOS 18. This is a Beta operating system that can significantly affect how our app behaves.
Feel free to post detailed instructions explaining how you created/edited a note in iOS to get the result that you describe. We could then try again to see if we can duplicate it from our side.

Yes, currently on iOS 18 but it did this on 17 as well.

Hi David,
So far we are still unable to duplicate this behavior.
If anyone reading this is experiencing the same issue, please chime in.

This still does not work on mobile. My current workaround when taking sermon notes on my iPad is to have the Logos Mobile app open on one side of the screen and the web app open on the other to take notes in.
I'd be more than happy to show someone from Logos the issue if you would like. I know it seems like a simple thing but it truly is frustrating.

I would still be more than happy to sit with someone and show them what I am talking about.

Just an update for those watching this thread, I was able to work with the Logos support staff to show them what I was talking about. This is, in fact, something that is lacking in the mobile apps and not at parity with the Desktop and Web apps. It has been added to their list of things to complete in the future.

I hope they can do this soon, it's something I've been hoping for for a long time. Here's my suggestion thread on it from a couple years ago.

They said it might be a while. However, at least on iPadOS, what I do for a work around is I use the Mobile app and the WebApp side-by-side if I'm doing major note taking (like in a sermon or lecture) so that the quick formatting is there and works flawlessly. Obviously not idea, but it works.
But yes, I made a video for them to show them exactly what I was talking about and it is exactly what you were describing. I wish I had seen your suggestion a while back, I would have trumpeted that from the rooftops!

Knowing that it works in the web app, I will use it for note-taking on my iPad for the time being. Until fairly recently, I have not really utilized the web app; now I see it has great functionality, sometimes much more so than the iPad app.

Oh, one note about the web app. SOMETIMES when you add a reference (ex. John 3:16) it takes a second and the cursor might go to the beginning of the reference and move back to the end for you to keep typing. This only seems to be in mobile browsers and not a desktop browser. It can be frustrating but it's still better than trying to format in the mobile app.
