Reported Speech

I do not understand the use of Reported Speech function in Logos. Can someone explain what that is? I tried searching the Wiki and the forums. I see a new post by one of the developers. It seems it is new to Factbook but maybe not Logos https://community.logos.com/forums/t/223682.aspx

It's not new to Logos. It is the dataset that lets you run a search like

It is difficult as it is over 10 years old and the search keywords are speaker and addressee. But you should have the "Reported Speech: Dataset Documentation" in Library.

For generic reported speech see TIP of the day: Generic reported speech - Logos Forums - it shows how it is available, how to use it, etc. independent from Factbook as it precedes factbook.

I would have thought so, since your tip post is from 2015 - but there is the Factbook in your screenshots! I still largely ignore it....

I did not think it was new. I can not find the Dataset Documentation. Thank you for that tip MJ it was very beneficial.

Look in your library under the type:manual It's name is Reported Speech: Dataset Documentation so it should be easy to spot.
