Where did this quote come from? I think it might be this but if so it is a typo in DMB's footer. https://scholarworks.iu.edu/journals/index.php/tmr/article/view/20109/26205
[quote] "If myth is ideology in narrative form, then scholarship is myth with footnotes." B. Lincolm 1999.
Bumping in hopes of getting an appropriate answer
I think DMB would know as it is her footer memo
"If myth is ideology in narrative form, then scholarship is myth with footnotes" is from Bruce Lincoln's 1999 book Theorizing Myth: Narrative, Ideology, and Scholarship. I was being lazy regarding looking up the precise title of the book.
Thanks. I was going to quote that in a paper I am writing
Sorry, Christian. I missed the thread TWICE!
It is a great quote and very suitable for my coherence in analysis
I added this quote to my Logos Notes. It is that good.
