Yes, I know, the subject line is a bit provocative, but the reality is that it will prove to be true for many users. I have heard a lot of talk about people being troubled by the constant monthly/annual expense connected to subscription. But I don't feel like the savings have been emphasized to the extent that they deserve. Pro and Max subscribers will save approximately 10% on every purchase made, 5% immediately, and 5% refunded at the end of the year. That means that if a user spends $1000 on resources spread throughout the year, they will essentially be gifted free features at the Pro level for that year ($99/yr). What the subscription model is doing is rewarding those users who build their library through Logos rather than through other bookstores. It's even likely that many users will end the year having saved more money than was spent on the subscription.
In essence, what I'm saying is this: for many of us who love our Logos libraries and plan to continue building them, this change to subscription is shaping up to be a very good thing.
