Books Search Producing Bible Results

I can't remove the "Passages" filter from my books search, so I am getting results from my bibles instead of my library. If I change the resource type, the results only return my resources with bible book indexes.

I don't know why passages would be an option when there is a dedicated bible search tab.

I'm afraid I'm not following.

I'm assuming the Monograph shown in your screenshot is a collection of your monographs. When I do the same and run a search the only books I get results from are monographs, not Bibles

Please post a screenshot showing your search string and the results showing Bibles

Having this filter here is helpful if you want to, for example, run a search against your commentaries but just restrict the search to what the commentaries say on a particular biblical passage

I did not use the "Group by" tabs, so it must have defaulted to a grouping that included biblically indexed resources.

I wasn't looking for monographs, but I had selected monographs seeing if bibles would be excluded from the results. I will try clicking the group by tabs to get desired results.

I found my issue.

I begin typing and select from the suggestions. Instead of my search terms I had accepted search topics. Search topics must be keyed more heavily to my library's bibles than other available resources.

So when I could not get any non-biblical results, I thought it was due to the passage filter. It appears topical searches are the problem.

When you see "All Passages" it is not filtering your Search i.e. it plays no part in the Search.

If you Search a collection of Early Church Fathers you can filter it, for example, with the reference Irenaeus, Against Heresies
