BUG: Sermon Document typing issue
When typing Bible references in sermon docs, the keyboard is temporarily disabled.
This happens when the mouse cursor is somewhere on the text being typed. When the text is recognized as a Bible reference, the font color changes, and the mouse triggers a pop-up with the verses referenced.
This isn't a problem to me. What is a problem is that as soon as this happens, I am no longer able to type additional characters. Backspace works, and Tab works, and Enter works, but that's all. This prevents me from completing the reference until I move the mouse. (I intend to type "John 1:8," but as soon as I type "John 1," it becomes a recognized reference. If I am typing quickly and hit enter after the whole reference, I am surprised when the whole chapter of John 1 appears, instead of one verse.)
This is only mildly annoying when it happens a few times, but if I am busy and focused on my work, it happens quite often, since I am moving back and forth between windows, and clicking to place the cursor where I need it. It happens many times.
Can this be fixed? Seems like a simple coding issue.

Yes - there is something buggy with the Sermon Document editor on this account. It happens when trying to delete or remove text as well. I see the same issue.

This seems to be resolved. Over the last few days, I am unable to replicate the issue. When the text turns blue and becomes a recognized Bible reference, the mouse remains a cursor, like a capital "I." Typing ability remains intact. I have to move the mouse off the reference and back onto it for a verse preview to pop up, and for typing to be suspended. This is the first time I have seen this behavior. Many thanks!

Not resolved for me.
