Why does the highlight only show in one of the two additional resources added in the search result even though the "corresponding word" option is selected in each resource?

Welcome to the forums, I can't quite answer because the answer depends upon the resources you are using and, most often, if you own the appropriate reverse interlinears to align at the word level. So, if you provide the titles of the books involved, I can probably give you a precise answer.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

If you want search highlights to show you should select Corresponding Text in other books > Search results

As above, you need the appropriate books with Interlinears

Thank you for your response, I had pasted in a screen shot but for whatever reason it is not showing. The resources I was comparing were the NA28 and TR1550 to the KJV. The NA28 was the only one the corresponding word highlight showed.

Thanks for the response Dave, I do have that selected in both resources also.

After experimenting with adding other bibles and Greek texts it appears that the TR1550 and related Greek texts of that series are not supported for this function although I do not understand why. It would certainly allow for much quicker comparison.

Thanks again MJ and Dave for your replies, they were appreciated.

Thanks Graham, I never bothered looking for that because it accepted the "paste". I appreciate you bringing that to my attention, I will be sure to use that in the future.

TR1550 will support Corresponding words but you must select "Same lemma" when comparing to KJV 1900 (with Greek/Hebrew Interlinears). It does not support Corresponding Text > Search results. TR1550 has different Greek words to NA28/KJV:

Note the lack of word highlights in TR1550.
