Library browse column / colom by purchase date

I would find it useful to list my resources by purchase date. When the library gets large and I sign up for pre-pubs and other items I often forget to look at the new resources. I purchased the resource for a reason, but now it's lost in the system.

Might be heloful to have a placeholder for the pre-pub item in my library so I know it's on the way.

A much requested feature is to know what new resources have been added to Library - whether by a tag or some date stamp. Purchase date is appealing.

I've begun applying tags (e.g. "Bought: 20100902") to make note of my purchase dates. I can't really sort my entire library by purchase date, but I can group it by purchase date if I click on the Tags column heading. Then there will be a bunch of "Bought: ..." entries, in amongst the other tags, which I can expand one at a time. Kind of a pain. I'd rather have a simple column for purchase date which I could sort by.

Incidentally, I can easily find which items I haven't yet tagged with a purchase date by filtering my library thus:

rating:>=0 ANDNOT mytag:bought
