Question for Logos: Is it worth reporting Typos?
Since I always read on my iPad where there is no "Report Typo" feature, I have a backlog of about 517 Typos in various books (I simply add a note saying, "Typo").
Is it worth reporting all of these on the Desktop App? Does Logos actually try to fix them? (I understand that not all typos are true typos, so this would require work on their part - see my suggestion here for "Community Typos" Community Typos | Logos). Finally, if Logos is interested in improving their resources, would they be able to access my notes directly in order to find the typos so I wouldn't have to report them all individually on Desktop?

On my iPad on the Logos app, I tap the MORE menu on the bottom right of the screen, then I tap ABOUT at the bottom of the list. On the menu that appears there is a selection for REPORT A PROBLEM. That is where I would report a typo. It is a bit hard to locate, as they say: IYKYK. (If You Know You Know)

Yes. They have to be confirmed with the publishers, but many would come from their (FL) own processing. The publishers make some big gaffes with the submission of incorrect digital editions, and how else would they know?

I've been doing that too for a few years now. I report the mistake and make a note in a notebook of errors to be corrected. I even make the notebook public for anyone to see. Usually my reported mistakes are in Portuguese resources.Robert Kelbe said:Since I always read on my iPad where there is no "Report Typo" feature, I have a backlog of about 517 Typos in various books (I simply add a note saying, "Typo").
I think I read that they create a ranking of the most notified resources to prioritize. The problem is that little-used features, especially in languages with few users, end up being left out if this ranking exists.
I haven't seen one corrected in years. I even created a suggestion in Feedback for simple typos and spelling mistakes to be corrected by the community, saving work for the Faithlife team.____________
