Reduce padding on "One Verse Per Line" Reformat View Option

The following "One Verse Per Line" option adds padding to the left/right of each verse, and is excessive and wastes valuable space needed for text compare view. Either allow the user to adjust it or please reduce it to minimal (0 left padding, 1-2 spaces right padding). Thanks

Those of us with more experienced eyes (i.e. us old folks) often find narrow column padding difficult to read.

No, size of text is a separate issue from optimum spacing.

Optimal is how TheWord has its spacing configured, currenty Logos implementation works but it's sub-optimal. Too much space is being wasted (bust out a ruler if you don't believe me, I'd say it's roughly 1/4th of the screen is blank space in a 6-book view...). If it's an issue, I suggest a configurable slider, and the user can adjust it themselves, but I presume many would opt for less spacing so each book's width can be more easily read. Just a thought.

Further, back on topic, the verse number doesn't actually have to be in its own column (again, see TheWord screenshot). It works perfectly fine if it comes at the start of each verse, and is perhaps in a different color, like blue, and maybe a different font size as well.

Fortunately, the forums are a place in which to make suggestions of how one would like to see Logos improved, not a place to argue accessibility standards. I understand your position; I hope you understand mine. Personally, I avoid the use of verse divisions like the plague except for purposes of reference like page/line in legal documents.

Yep, and I am allowed to disagree with you. If you read my post, I understood your point and suggested an option to satisfy both you and I (as representations of user classes). But again, simply not having it in its own column would improve the situation well enough.

I agree ... that's lots of white space. On my commentary multiview, the Bible is 1/3 white space. My commentaries just right. Seems a Bible problem.

The work-around is to expand the Bible column ... squishing up the commentaries.

But they won't fix it. They love their white space. I literally don't buy some of the Lexham volumes due to their riot of white space.
