i lobster, but i didn't flounder

I was playing around with the program and had stumbled on setting up a pane that was amazing. It was just what i dreamed of setting up, in addition to the other excellent panes i have set up on my 27" screen.

It showed all the bibles in side by side columns and had comparisons of each verse. In other words, it showed with symbols, the verse and what was different compared to the other Bible versions. THEN i clicked on something and it was gone.

This sounds like the Text Comparison tool with the Show Differences setting turned on.

You also have to click the three dots on the top right and select "horizontal layout" to get it to show columns consistently. Otherwise it will adjust based on the size of your pane.

One last thing, how do i arrange that the KJV is the master (first on the list).

You have to set the KJV as the first file in the comparison followed by your collection, even if the collection contains the KJV.
