What's the difference between these resources?

Can someone tell me the differences between these two resources. It looks like they cover relatively the same material. I would rather have the one that goes more in depth.

Thanks. I was trying to compare the two on my phone and it just wasn't working well. It looks like the published in 2017 (Essential Christian Doctrine) is about half the size as Biblical Doctrine.
