BUG: Louw-Nida behaves properly in Context Menu; Andersen-Forbes does not

When I select a name in Matthew in the NRSV and select the Louw-Nida number entry on the left, on the right, the Lookup function takes me to the Louw-Nida values. When I select a name in Genesis in the Andersen-Forbes Analyzed Hebrew Text and select the AF semantic domain on the left, the right does NOT show a Lookup option to take me to the values.

What resource do you think should appear on the context menu, but isn't there?

(Or are you requesting that a new "glossary" resource be created with milestones for all AF data type references? You could request such at https://feedback.logos.com/boards/logos-book-requests but I see it being extremely unlikely that such a resource would ever be created.)

Honestly, it doesn't seem very helpful to me to link "Deity" to a list of words, one of which is "Deity", but I'll put in a suggestion for this.

The reason it is needed is because knowing the name of a single domain tells you nothing. You need to see the domain name in context so you know what is really is. Words/classifications without context are a waste of time and space.

Well, this thread was quite enlightening.

Things I didn't know:

- Andersen-Forbes included semantic domains (classes don't show up in any of my documentation, at least that I can find).

- Logos makes no use of the usual semantic domain source for the OT in the tagging>right-click

- And the RI/right-click is a limited-view. I'd just 'assumed' the RI would have the cat's meow. I didn't see this, until looking at non-RI Bibles, that include a LOT more useful info (primarily intertext and technical figures of speech). Who knew (if indeed true).

Andersen-Forbes were truly pioneers. They encoded not only morphology and syntax but also genre, semantic class, and source criticism. Linguistics may have grown beyond them but computerization still owes them a great debt.
