Is there any way to have resources auto-open with page numbers instead of manually going through Visual Filters and then selecting Page numbers?

Where you set the Visual Fliter for show pages numbers, click on the little arrow to the right of the selection ... a menu will appear.
When you have brought up the menu and selected show page numbers, then click on the "hamburger" menu (GREEN HIGHLIGHT), and the select show in all appropriate books (yellow highlight). Screen shot is for new resource toolbar, but it will work the same way once you have navigate to where you turn on visual filters for page numbers in the classic resource toolbar.
