Sermon & Note Editor Lag on Apple M2 Chip

I’m experiencing lag in my sermon and note editor on my new Mac Mini, but everything runs smoothly on my Intel-based laptop. This only happens in the sermon and note editor.

I’ve come across some posts from Windows users mentioning that turning off hardware acceleration helped, but I’m not aware of any such feature on macOS. Also, my system resources aren’t showing any significant rise when the editor is in use, so I’m confident my hardware is more than capable.

Any insights into what might be causing this or how to resolve it?
