I want to take this opportunity to express my deep appreciation for the remarkable work the Logos team and community have done over the years. Logos Bible Software has evolved significantly since its early days, growing from a simple Bible study tool into a comprehensive and indispensable resource for students, pastors, and scholars alike. The software's development has made accessing a vast library of biblical resources more convenient and efficient.

The shift to a more subscription-based, subscription model has brought with it a host of new features and conveniences, such as automatic updates, access to an ever-expanding library, and the ability to work seamlessly across devices. However, this evolution hasn't been without its challenges. One of the more significant concerns is the shift toward a subscription model, which, while offering continuous updates and access to new content, can feel burdensome for many long-time users. For those who have invested substantially in the software over the years, the move away from a traditional ownership model to a recurring payment structure can be disheartening. The shift implies that, despite significant upfront investments in resources, users now face ongoing costs to maintain access to certain features and libraries.

The dedication of the Logos team to creating an unparalleled resource for biblical study is evident. The community's feedback has always played a crucial role in shaping the direction of the software, and I am hopeful that a balanced approach can be found that continues to meet the diverse needs of all users. I am grateful for the ways this platform continues to support my research and home group studies and for the thoughtful dialogue that this community fosters. Also, I have been auditing a class as part of my journey towards doctoral education which has been both rewarding and demanding.  I took a seminar class on the Gospel of John. It has been very rewarding. Balancing these commitments alongside my health concerns required more time and energy than I initially anticipated, and I deeply appreciate your patience and understanding during this season. Thank you for your ongoing support, prayers, and the collective wisdom that makes this space so valuable.

Christian ... I was beginning to worry about you.

And appreciate your thoughts. I just hope your health challenges can accede to your hoped for academic goals. Hard work! But good work.

I had COVID and it went into bronchitis. I am still having issues with Financial Aid but at least I got funding for this one class.
