Pre-pub fixed released dates

I appreciate the fact that pre-pubs get released as production is done. Also the fact that some have to be postponed because of cancelled pre-orders etc. But I think Logos could schedule some on fixed dates for release, even if they finish production. Some books and collections are very expensive, and for someone who has hundreds of books on pre-order, when some appear abruptly as 'about to ship', I may have no choice but to cancel it.

Maybe fix some release dates for some, or give the customer a choice of holding it for some weeks so it fits our budgets. That could avoid cancelling.

A personal tip: put an expired virtual card on your account and use it to pre-pub. When the pre-pub is close to launch, you'll be notified that it will be charged. Then you have two options. 1) just move the pre-pub to another valid card and be charged on launch day; 2) wait for launch day to arrive, they try to charge you, but the card is declined, so you have 30 days to contact customer support (email or chat) to request that the purchase be made on another card paying the same price as the pre-pub (within those 30 days).
