I have a large Notes file that is made up of highlights from a book.  When it is in the app, it looks like this-

When I export it, the metadata (chapter and verse) goes away, and I need them to be visible in the export. The file is useless without the chapters and verses anchors. Here's what I see exported to Word-

How can I export the Notes and get the anchors to show?

From the desktop, I export to Word I often do multiple notes at once (e.g. notes on a course for archiving).   The word file comes out wit’s each of the anchors, Title of the note, text of the note.

It would be nice if it formatted titles as a heading style and anchors as s style.

I haven’t tried exporting highlights as I don’t normally add note text to a highlight, I create a note separately to highlights - makes it easier to add other anchors to the note without accidentally highlighting huge passages in other resources.

I use the N shortcut key to create a note with anchor to my text selection.

I have shortcut keys for my other highlight styles e.g. Y = yellow, G=green, etc.  To highlight something adn add a note I then just select the text and press Y then N to get a yellow highlight and open a note to type text.  The selection will appear in the anchor of the note and can be exported to Word if I want.

I too have the same issue as Doc B. I cannot get the export of my notes to show the chapter or verse that the note relates to. This makes the export to be of minimal value as you don't know what verse  or text the note is related to. I would greatly value help in being able to export my personal notes with the text anchors being displayed. I have trying exporting to various formats but they still don't display the anchors.

    I'm running version 36.1.6

If I look at existing Suggestions after entering "Notes export", I see https://feedback.logos.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/notes-tool-exporting-full-anchor-text and many others, at least 3 years old. Then there is this one https://feedback.logos.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/disappointed-exporting

It would say that Export is disappointing and I do not use Notes.
