Expanding Layout views and migrating them

Is there a way to maximize a recently closed application?

When the Layouts icon is selected, a drop-down of the "Application Closed" list appears.

Is there a way to hover over one of them and have it expanded or enlarged so you can see what it was?

The reason I ask is if I have some resources already open and want to see something I was previously reading and find it I'd like to be able to migrate those into my current readings without losing my current open reading window.

However, if I select a recently closed application I will lose what resource(s) I already have opened.

So, is there a way to:

Maximize a recently closed application from the Layouts drop-down.
Is there a way to migrate a closed application in a current reading without losing it?

I do not know what you are asking. Can you try again? Provide screenshots? Why are you asking about "applications" ?

A little terminology clarification. Everything you are seeing there is a layout, which is just how Logos defines the arrangement of certain resources on your screen(s). Snapshots are automatically saved layouts.

1. No. There is not a way to enlarge the preview, although I can see how that would be helpful.

2. No, because each one of those represents a whole layout. You can't open one to pull out a single resource, whenever you open one it clears your workspace and creates a new setup. You would need to make a request for a new feature to let us right-click layouts and open them as a floating window without closing the existing layout. I have never wanted to do that, but I can see how it could be useful to have several partial layouts. What you are trying to do is meant to be done by sorting the library by recent, so you can reopen your last used books.

I don't think it is possible to open a layout (auto saved snapshot or saved named layout) inside another layout (the one currently open with your one resource open in one pane in the left half).
One can only open resources and tools in any given layout (whether it is unsaved or has been saved and opened), but not open lyouts inside layouts, or merging layouts, etc.

And zooming in probably is NOT an option either.
