I would love if the Book/Resource Cover is an active link. So I can double click on the book cover to open it.
As a spoiled internet user this would be much more familiar than every time seek the title to click on it.
If you're referring to the library, then this already works with one click.

It does work exactly like that under Windows, in the tile view you show as well as in the details view I normally use - notwithstanding the fact that I only tried to do this for the first time after seeing your suggestion and the responses.
