I purchased this book for free and it won’t open because it says is not part of my library, but the other book I got with it in the same receipt does open. Any idea why it’s locked? Sometimess I buy a book and it takes 24 hours to turn up in my library.
I did just buy that book and I can confirm your experience, it's currently a no show!
It gets better, first it didn't show up, then I tried again and it said I don't have a license and when I clicked on the link to go to Logos it said:
This is not a product we currently sell.

Weʼre sorry.
Well since we purchased it before it got pulled away, we should be able to have it or exchanged for a credit.

This obviously is a weird and special case - and I can't confirm that it is usual that bought books are not available in the library on desktop. I buy quite often and it's always instantly - most often within few seconds. Impatient as I am, sometimes when it is not coming over immediately, I use the update now command or trigger a Logos restart which will then download the new book(s) in the Preparing Library routine that is part of it.
After seeing your thread yesterday I bought the book, but then didn't check further (off-computer life taking over). This morning I see the same as you : it doesn't load into the library. That's a new thing. Logos does pull books - sometimes over rights issues, sometimes other reasons - but it always used to be the case that those who had bought them retained their license and the book downloaded to them accordingly. This specific book doesn't seem to be new or in any way special (other books by John Ankerberg are available just fine, including ones that are currently free), the eBook is available for rent on Kindle Unlimited or for less than a dollar to buy on Amazon for me. It seems weird to pull a book in such a brutal way - maybe a mistake?
EDIT: That book is also not available in the "add to library" view, where one could add it to the print library (other books that have been pulled from the store usually are) - it raises the question whether this book actually did exist in the Logos universe beyond a product page.
We should be able to have it, period. (What credit would you want for a book bought free?)
Yeah I demand a $0.00 credit immediately
Mine is there already 😂😂👍
I am totally Jelly. It'll be hard to decide what to spend it on.

Gee, let me think 🤔 Maybe another book that has the same regular price as the one that’s no longer on sale 👌Or swap it for another free one… Or maybe I was just being sarcastic on the credit request 😂😂😂

I can't speak as to why a product page was put up for this resource and you were allowed to purchase it. But I can tell you that (as of today) no resource file has been produced for it. That's why you can't open it (and probably why it was pulled.)
You do still have a license for the resource (because you ordered it when it was available), so if it ever is produced, it will download and show up in your library.

No worries! But wow, I own a free book that hasn’t been produced yet 😂😂😂 That has got to be a first one, but I could be wrong 😂😂😂
Thanks Bradley!
Hi everyone, thanks for pointing this out. We are looking into this and expect to have it resolved shortly.
sorry, too late. I want my $00.00 dollars credited back. It is a matter of principle and honour.
This disappearing book, "Questions Asked Most About Spiritual Things," just appeared in my library. More than that, I could also open it!
Same here, THANK YOU Bradley and Mitch!
I can access it in the web app, but not on desktop. [^o)]
Edit: It just downloaded on desktop too.

Well, I guess the future is here 😂 I just checked my phone and it’s there now. Thank you FL team!
I'm still getting this message:
EDIT: The link still brings up the error, but the book itself is there and I can open it (Logos web).
