Default anchor in notes
When I'm in the Notes tool and click the "New note" button, it always includes an anchor at the top of the note. Sometimes it relates to a reference, and sometimes it relates to a Greek word, and sometimes it relates to a reference within UBS5. I suspect it's detecting the last thing that had focus before I clicked the "New note" button, but I'm not sure. Two questions:
1) Is my suspicion correct, that the type of anchor relates to the item that has focus before clicking the button?
2) Is there a way to have no anchor added automatically by default? I ALWAYS delete that default note.
Thanks!

Yes, I believe so

Instead of clicking the New note button, open the dropdown (using the arrow to the right of the button) and click New note in the dropdown menu
