CRASH: in search

Okay, you really don't want to know what I was doing do you? Think trying to get a search to give me all references in a given book so that I could make a filter. [H]

Edited re: Rosie's request. I was searching All the Questions of the Bible for <Gen 1:1 - Rev 22:21>. Note that when I change the criteria to <Gen - Rev>, the search did end normally ... but the response time was counted in minutes not seconds.

Could you be more explicit? I can't guess what you mean by that description of what you were doing, and I doubt the Logos devs will be able to either.

There was no crash information - is there a crash log? Were you performing a Basic Search?

A Microsoft crash report was generated but not a crash log ... one of several oddities. Yes, it was a Basic Search

Here are the recreated steps with the repeated blow up

Again there is no crash log. Since <Gen - Rev> does run to completion, I suspect an inefficient search that exceeds machine capacity ... but I don't have spare machines hanging around to test my theory.
