search flaw?

this can't be a flaw, right?

I Samuel 2:30 God says that those who honor Me I will honor

I wanted to do a search for any passage about God honoring people

I can't find a way. I contacted MPSeminars and no help, and just now to customer service

I thought I could type subject:God AND sense:honor (should be "to honor", right, the verb)

it defaults to people honoring God

any thoughts?

Doing a Clause search (which I think is what you are doing) in the Lexham Hebrew Bible, this should work: subject:God AND verb-sense:to honor

The key part is that you need to use "verb-sense", not "sense".

I find this to be the greatest weakness of both Clause and Syntax search: they're both limited to specific, tagged Bibles. They would be far more useful if their tagging was standardized, generalized, and applied to Bibles in all languages, as is done with interlinears.
