Interlinear

I have a MAJOR problem with the new Interlinear feature in that to turn on the panel a dropdown menu appears, Then I have to turn on the feature in the slide bar. Previously. it was a simple one-click on and off. please restore this simple process.
If I am missed something or this is already available please let me know.
Thanks.

Martin, if I am understanding you correctly, you now must click on the View tab on the resource toolbar, select Interlinear, and then choose to turn on or off the Interlinear function. Are some of these the extra clicks you wish were not there?

In several of my layouts, a Bible panel is not wide enough to display all the labels in the resource bar, thus I need to click on "more", click on "view", click on "interlinear", click on "slider off/on" in order to turn on the inline interlinear being displayed.
It used to be just ONE click on a toggle on/off interlinear symbol/icon in the resource bar ... which also indicated by its presence if a Bible actually had a reverse interlinear functionality.
One might wonder when the time comes that this "4 clicks" scenario will be turned into an AI function assisted speech command to a Logos "Siri" ?

I whole heartily agree! I posted something like this earlier. I use the Interlinear option a lot and this new way just adds too many steps... both to use it and to turn it off. I hope they re-think this soon!

Honestly, the easiest thing to do would be to bring back the divided button of the old toolbar. It worked great.

Does it really need to be as difficult as it appears? Does it really need to take another full release cycle to possibly fix it?
I again point to the video that Mark posted, showing the capability of having an option between Dynamic and Classic Toolbars.... Why are they so against providing that as the ongoing option? That would be the fix that provides the greatest customer experience - keeping those who love the Dynamic Toolbar happy and those who want nothing to do with happy.... As a minimum provide the option until the issues and inefficiencies of the Dynamic Toolbar are fixed....
It's not like the Classic isn't being maintained anyways - non-subscribers get to keep it....

I'm not against the Dynamic Toolbars... I think they're great. I just would like to see some "tweaking" in them such as with the problem of the "Interlinear". And I think they will... Good things take a little longer! [8-|]

In the webinar today Mark spoke of a keyboard command that will toggle the inline interlinear on and off. It will, he said, be available in the next version which is V38.

I think that the Dynamic Toolbar looks really good - my issue is the function and inefficiency.... I will even give credit to the fact that the menu function is quite smooth as well - but many of us would prefer functional efficiency over look.... Taking 4 clicks to accomplish the same task is not good planning and "fixing" it by making it into a keyboard shortcut will work for some - but there are some who do not adapt well with the keyboard shortcuts...
Again - I would love to hear from Mark, Phil or Bradley as to why there is such reluctance or outright refusal to allow an option between the toolbars.
