Highlight Styles

I was wondering if there is anyway to copy or duplicate highlight styles between palettes?

As you can see from this screenshot of MJ. Smith, (taken from the new wiki page on highlighting) some highlight styles have been duplicated to allow them to be tied into a specific passage, was wondering if this requires re-creating the styles or can you just copy from another palette?

If not, is this something to come on Mac or could be introduced?

Not sure about the Mac side, but Mac L4 is supposed to be nearing parity with Win L4, so if this is missing on Mac it should be coming soon: you can duplicate a style within a palette (right-click on it and select Duplicate Style) and you can duplicate an entire palette (right-click on it and select Duplicate Palette), but you can't move a style from one palette to another. So to get what you want, you might need to plan ahead and create one entire palette first with all its styles and then duplicate that palette and change each of the styles in it to be the way you want them for the new palette. If you later think of a style you forgot to add in the first palette before duplicating it, though, you're out of luck. It would be a good suggestion to add to UserVoice a request for the ability to move or copy styles from one palette to another. I'd vote for it, once some of the other features I've been waiting for get address so I can free up some of my votes.

We create them manually. Martha (MJ Smith) is one of the ones who spends a lot of time creating lots of custom palettes for her study. Unfortunately each user currently has to create all their own hilighting styles from scratch because there is no way to export them and share them among users. Unless someone created them in L3, when they were exportable, and then you could import them into L4. But I think Martha has done all hers in L4.
