Stop the press - AI Tokens Percentage Used Indicator Is On Its Way.

On the Web App Logos are beta testing a feature to indicate the percentage of AI tokens you have used during the current month. Your token allowance is refreshed each month.  This allows you to manage your usage of AI features.

I am one of those who ran out of AI credits very quickly during early access, so am strangely excited to see this feature is on the way. It will not be available on the desktop, or mobile apps, until a future release.

I hope you can join in my excitement. If not, please start your own thread to make your feelings known.

There is a link in the pop-up that appears when you hover over the indicator. The link opens a Logos page which contains some information about AI tokens. Amongst other things it reads: "you’ll be able to use every one of the AI tools a few hundred times a month before your credits run out – more than that if you’re only using one or two tools. The current exceptions to this are Smart Synopsis and Sermon Assistant Outlines, which use more credits than other tools due to their complexity and power. You’ll still be able to use those tools dozens of times per month, though."

Now I am off to use up more of those credits!

Thanks for pointing this out, and I'm excited as well. Since I found out that Smart Synopsis is 'expensive', I've been more careful with using it, but seeing my current usage, I'll loosen up the purse-strings a bit 😊

Exactly.  If it updates the percentage soon after we use some AI tokens it won't be long before we can see what really burns the fuel.  I was happy to find out, in a thread from a Logos employee, that summarising in resources  and generating questions in Bible Study Builder and Sermon Builder uses less tokens than other AI use.
