Recognizing references in parentheses in Notes files

I am frequently inconvenienced when writing Notes files that if I place a Bible reference in parentheses, as I often do to support the preceding statement, it does not automatically recognize and link it as a Bible reference if the closing parenthesis is followed by another punctuation mark.  For instance, if I type:

(Lk 6:39)

and then hit the spacebar, it recognizes it.  But if I type:

(Lk 6:39),

and then hit spacebar and move on with my sentence or:

(Lk 6:39).

and then begin a new sentence, the reference is not tagged.  Then I have to go back to the reference and hit space right at the end of it to get it recognized.  Since I often use references in parentheses at the end of clauses or sentences, this is a pretty annoying occurrence.  Has anyone else noticed this?  It would be very nice to have this little bug fixed.  Thanks!

Yes, many others have commented on similar anomalies with Scripture references in Notes and in the Forum software. I haven't tried a parenthesis following a reference, but I have noticed that L4 will not recognize a reference if it is followed by punctuation.

I don't know whether it is a bug or by design, but I do agree that it needs to be changed.
