Why must I repurchase Lexham titles?

I own several printed copies of Michael Heisers books.
I have them in Print Library, which makes them searchable in a very limited way, but not readable in Logos.
For a long time now I have been waiting for a sale on these items, but they are never marked down enough to convince me it is smart to repurchase a license to use them in Logos, when I have already purchased the printed books.
But even the Heiser memorial sale not so long ago focused mostly on videos and classes (which I consider overpriced). The big discount on the books and packages I was hoping for was not there.
So Lexham is essentially Logos in some complex way correct?
Today it occurred to me that Lexham should give me access in Logos for FREE if I purchased a hard copy from them. Why can't a Lexham printed book contain an activation code so that a person would get a Logos license for the same book? And vice-versa? The website could offer discounts on printed books for those who have already purchased electronic.
If they handled this wisely, it could increase their sales, both printed and electronic.
I know Amazon had a program at one time called Kindle Matchbook. When you bought a printed book, you could then buy the Kindle version for $1 or sometimes a bit more. The program was apparently discontinued for several reasons ...
https://goodereader.com/blog/kindle/why-did-amazon-discontinue-the-kindle-matchbook-program">Major publishers strongly opposed the program, thinking that giving a Kindle book away for free or at a reduced price would devalue their books.
I think the main issue was that publishers did not like it. But Lexham and Logos are essentially the same company right?
Many Logos customers who now purchase printed books from Amazon would rather buy those same printed books from Logos if they got a deal on the electronic license along with it.
I know I would buy direct from Logos if they offered a deal like this [:)]
